The username "cuairteoir" and the password "isteach" (without the inverted commas) will admit you to five sample lessons.

Each lesson contains text, audio files, -- there is even a song for you to enjoy (or not!) -- and the words to study and learn. No interactive exercises are given because you must enrol in order to use that facility which is by far the most amazing feature of this project and generates the most demand from both students and teachers.

  • Students get their work marked immediately without delay. If they get an answer wrong they must find out why from the lesson and learn for themselves. If that proves impossible the Teagascóir Tutor is always on hand to advise by e-mail.

  • Teachers will find
    • lessons prepared and laid out ready to display on a whiteboard or overhead screen;
    • hundreds of prepared exercises in the form of quizzes to enable students to engage with the subject of the lesson and test their understanding of the points at issue;
    • a computer-aided marking service
      • to cut down on their out-of-class correction time
      • and maintain a record of their own students' achievement.
