SCHOOL PUPILS, 3RD LEVEL STUDENTS, & LIFE-LONG LEARNERS
This website gives you a wonderful opportunity to brush up on your Irish at home using the amazing facilities offered by the Internet and MOODLE. Here you will find lessons on Irish grammar at advanced and intermediate levels, numerous self-assessment tests with every lesson, some MP3 sound files, a FORUM to practise your Irish and get to know other learners, and the support (by e-mail and telephone) of a live TEAGASCÓIR.
SECOND LEVEL TEACHERS
Classroom teachers may use this site in three ways:
- by availing of the ready-prepared lessons and exercises published here to teach Irish to their own pupils.
- by publishing their own choice of lessons, exercises and other material on this website either on their own, if they have the necessary skills and equipment, or with the assistance of the STUDYBASE staff
- by taking one or other of the courses themselves in order to improve their own Irish. .
POINTS OF GRAMMAR TAUGHT ON THE HIGHER-LEVEL COURSE
CB1: HIGER LEVEL IRISH
This advanced course is intended for those who already have a good knowledge of Irish. The points of grammar explained may be found here (in Irish): Clár CB1. This course draws on ÚRCHÚRSA GAEILGE by Dónall P. Ó Baoill and Éamonn Ó Tuathail.

CB2: INTERMEDIATE-LEVEL IRISH
